The reason Jesinta Franklin came so close to winning the Miss Universe title in 2010 has been brought to everyone’s attention.

When the former beauty queen and now successful businesswoman walked the red carpet at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on Thursday night, she appeared every bit the glamorous movie star.

The mother of two, 32, looked stunning in a strapless Armani dress made of black velvet with satin accents around the bust.

She accessorized with Bulgari jewelry, including a Serpenti necklace, matching earrings, and ring, and wore the gown with peep-toe heels and a handbag.

Franklin’s stylists chose classic hair and cosmetics for the occasion, giving her a look that was from out of the playbook of old-Hollywood glitz.

Her makeup was a natural eye and strong red lip combination, with matching red nails to finish off the costume. Her dark brunette hair was fashioned in loose, voluminous curls, with lighter extensions interspersed throughout.

Franklin was there for the red carpet premiere of Michael Man’s film Ferrari.

The movie focuses on three turbulent months in the life of Enzo Ferrari, the creator of the namesake car company, during which he has financial difficulties, mourns the loss of his son, and bears a kid with his mistress, which is later revealed to him by his wife.

The Australian model has been in Italy for Armani Beauty this week, turning up the glitz.

On Tuesday, she appeared in a matching Scanlan Theodore flowery halter top and skirt combination in black with a bright red lip and more Bulgari jewelry, this time a diamond necklace and pair of earrings.

She participated in a lap of honor with her husband, retired AFL footballer Buddy Franklin, on Sunday afternoon at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Days later, she made an appearance on the red carpet.

After her AFL hero husband’s illustrious career was abruptly ended by a calf injury, Franklin raved about him on social media, calling it “the end of an era.”

The two started dating in 2012 and soon established themselves as one of the most prominent power couples in Australian sports.

In a magnificent wedding ceremony in 2016, they got married. Tullulah was born in 2020, and Rocky was born in 2021.

More scandal, fewer stars at the 80th Venice Film Festival

Jesinta divulges specifics of Buddy’s departure.

Given that some of the greatest names in the industry were unable to attend owing to ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, the 80th Venice International Film Festival opened with a very different cast of Hollywood celebrities.

The Venice Film Festival, the oldest in the world, is held on the Venice Lido, sometimes known as the “beach of Venice,” a small barrier island in the Venetian Lagoon that is only accessible by boat from the main city.

It usually kicks off the industry’s awards season, with debutants frequently emerging as strong favorites to win an Oscar.
